Sessions and Pricing
Sessions are 50 minutes, the price listed is per craft.
Safety:
Wetsuits are not included in the booking price and are not available to hire.
Bouyancy aids are mandatory and provided
No access will be granted to Lake without a complete waiver for each participant. Under 18 waivers must be completed by an adult.
Supervision Policy
The supervision policy is listed below for each craft.
Arrival Time:
You must arrive 30 minutes before the session starts.
Refund and transfer policy:
Lake activities at Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre are non-refundable and you must contact us 24 hours before your booking starts if you wish to transfer your booking.

Canadian Canoe

A canoe made for two. A fantasic choice if you want to take somebody out on the water with you to help out with the paddling! They will keep you drier than a kayak but there is no guarantee of a completely dry ride...it depends on your canoeing partner!
The canadian canoe holds a minumum of 2 people maximum of 3. ( Ideal for 1 adult paddling with small children) Price per craft.
Supervision policy:
Under 8's must be accomopanied by a parent or guardian in the same boat.
8-17yrs can hire craft but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian in the same or a seperate boat.
All children under 18 must be accompanied on the water by a parent or guardian.

Family Stand Up Paddle Board

An ideal choice for the family or those wanting to explore the lake without the risk of capsizing up to 6 people can take to the water at once.
Holds a minumum of 4 and maximum of 6 people. Price is per craft.

Launch your own craft

£14.00

Launch your own craft on our beautiful lake and enjoy our beautiful surroundings from the comfort of your own craft.
These are in session times. Patricipants may stay as long as you like, please be advised once your leave the water that is the end of your session
Rules for launching your own craft:
To launch your own craft you must be able to provide proof of 3rd party insurance or BCU membership (British Canoeing Membership)
No inflatable designed craft allowed, no motorised craft allowed at all, trees surround the lake so inflatable boat launches are done at the owners risk.
Wetsuit hire isn't included in launch your own craft but bouyancy aids are provided and mandatory.

Sit On Top Kayak

Loads of fun on your own in these little boats. Perfect for novice or expert alike, great for exploring the lake with or just messing around with your friends!
A sit on top kayak holds 1 person.
Supervision policy:
Minimum age - 8 years old.
8-17yrs years old must be accompanied on the lake by a parent or guardian.
All under 18's must be accompanied on the water by a parent or guardian.

Stand Up Paddle Board

Stand up paddle boards hold 1 person.
Supervision policy:
No under 12's.
